The Eli Madison Memorial Mainframe Apprenticeship (EMMA) Foundation is dedicated to addressing the skills gap in mainframe technology by offering comprehensive training and hands-on experience to aspiring IT professionals.
The program aims to equip individuals with the expertise needed for careers in Mainframe technology and to fulfill the increasing demand for skilled mainframe professionals across various industries. Our unique approach combines rigorous training with real-world application, setting us apart from traditional training programs.
Named in honor of Elijah Madison, an exemplary individual who triumphed over adversity, to become a Union soldier, respected landowner, and community preacher. As a community leader, he donated land to establish a community and dedicated his life to helping the community, providing jobs and opportunities for growth. EMMA aims to empower the next generation of mainframe experts by providing hands-on training, mentorship, and career development opportunities.

As mainframe technology is critical to industries like banking, healthcare, education, hospitality, insurance, retail, and government, there is a significant demand for skilled mainframe professionals. Our program is designed to meet this demand by providing targeted training and practical experience.
The Eli Madison Mainframe Apprenticeship Program offers opportunities under two main categories:
- U.S. Citizens/Authorized to Work.
- International (Non-U.S. Citizens).
Track 1: US Citizens/Legal Residents
- Mainframe Experience
- IT Experience (New to Mainframe)
- No Experience in IT or Mainframe
